DIANE ALLEN, PRINCIPAL/BUSINESS MANAGER
Diane Allen began her advertising career in 1970 as advertising manager for Anvil Industries, a national industrial conglomerate. In this position, Diane coordinated advertising for 32 subsidiary companies throughout the United States. She also worked with seven different U.S. advertising agencies representing Anvil companies.
Diane has served as president and board member of the Baton Rouge Advertising Federation, Louisiana Governor of the American Advertising Federation’s 7th Deep South District, and as Secretary-Treasurer and Board Member of the Louisiana Association of Advertising Agencies.
She has received the highest personal recognition presented by the Baton Rouge Advertising Federation, the Pete Goldsby Award, presented annually based on lifetime contributions to the advertising profession and the Baton Rouge community. She received the Capital Area United Way Spirit Award for extraordinary service in bringing the United Way message to the people of the capital area. She was named one of the Top 25 Women by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and a winner of Baton Rouge’s Women of Achievement from the YWCA. Diane has received the Advertising Industry CEO/President of the Year Pinnacle Award, and she received the Women in Media’s Wanda Horn Lifetime Achievement Award.
