DONNY CHARBONNET, DIRECTOR of MEDIA SERVICES/ account management
Donny joined the staff of DAA as an LSU Manship School of Journalism student intern in August 2001. His energy and enthusiasm earned him a full-time position after his graduation from Louisiana State University in mass communications with a Bachelor’s degree in advertising and a minor in business administration.
Donny serves as the point person for several of the agency's key accounts and handles client communication and all aspects of customized planning for each of their markets. He is strategically involved in the media buying process, and reviews and approves all broadcast and outdoor buys prior to implementation for those accounts.
Donny has received the Baton Rouge Advertising Federation’s Media Buyer of the Year Pinnacle Award. He is trained in Strata, SQAD, Media Audit and Rentrak. As media director, his responsibilities at the agency include leading the media team in media research, planning and buying as well as media relations.
He is extremely detail-oriented and excels in special projects that include analysis and recommendations. His attention to detail ensures that every facet of our clients' numerous media plans are executed correctly and effectively.
